The interior Ministry of the Republic of Buryatia began to dismiss five police officers accused of the death of 17-year-old Nikita Kobelev, who died at the police station, choking on her own vomit during the torture, reported “Baikal Daily”.
“At the present time in regard to them is the consideration of the case in court. As soon as a decision is made about the fact that they are guilty as soon as the verdict comes into force, we will make a decision about their further service in bodies of internal Affairs”, — said the head of Department on work with staff of the Ministry of interior in Buryatia Mikhail buchenkov.
Suspects in a criminal case are five people — a former head of Department on disclosing of property crimes and the operational cover of field sales operative-detective Department of criminal investigation Department of the MIA in Ulan-Ude Andrey Pavlov, his subordinate, a 37-year-old operative Sergei Plotnikov, their 30-year-old colleague of the same operatively-detective Department Valentin Smolin, and also field investigators of the city Department of police No. 1 of 35-year-old Anatoly Alektorov and 34-year-old Tumen Manibhadra.
According to investigators, the police put on the head of Nikita mask and beat, “beating out” confessions of theft. The teenager died, choking on her own vomit.
