Member countries of the EU, representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission held consultations, which reached an interim agreement on visa-free regime with Ukraine.
“Representatives of the Maltese presidency and the European Parliament reached an interim agreement on visa liberalization for Ukrainians who visit the European Union”, – stated in the message.
While the report did not specify why we are talking about an interim agreement, because the standard procedure Trialogue should not be repeated.
In the Maltese chairmanship also noted that on Thursday, March 2, the question of the abolition of visas for Ukraine will be submitted to the meeting of permanent representatives of the member countries of the EU (COREPER), which will be held in Brussels.
Consideration at COREPER will be the first stage approval bezveza at the level of member countries.
