A British company David Brown Automotive, specializing in the restoration of classical models, revived the original Mini, which got modern stuffing.
The “new” model Mini-Remastered original design, but lost body seams and got a new aluminum grille, rear view mirrors with illumination oculodermal space and rear lights.
In the salon with leather armchairs appeared Smiths gauges, steering wheel Moto-Lita with wood trim, Keyless access to the salon and start engine, USB port, multimedia system with touch screen and even a Cup holder.
Under the hood there is a modified version of the 1,275-litre original motor, coupled to four-speed manual transmission. The four-cylinder power unit made up almost 80 HP
Modernization undergone suspension and brakes, also installed additional beams and support struts that increase chassis rigidity to improve handling.
In David Brown Automotive noted that the Assembly of each car takes about 1000 man-hours. Orders for the model will be in 2017.
