In Berlin in front of Russian Embassy in Germany activists held a rally against torture in Russia.
The event was timed to the reception at the Russian Embassy on the occasion of the Russian-German conference, which opens on September 14.
On the Boulevard Unter den Linden in front of the Embassy gathered more than 30 people – Russians, Chechens, Germans. They were holding banners about torture in Russia, the flags of Ukraine and of Ichkeria, pictures of Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia, including journalist Roman Sushchenko.
“Continuing political terror not only against Russians, but Ukrainians, who actually grab and take political hostages, in violation of all norms of international law, international agreements”, – commented the decision of the court in the sentence Sushchenko the Chairman of the Forum of Russian-speaking Europeans, Russian sociologist and publicist, living in Germany, Igor eidman.
He stressed that Putin’s regime “is equally as cruel and wicked towards their own people and to other Nations.”
