It is unknown how many people were under the rubble.
In the Belgian Brussels, a massive explosion in a residential building. The explosion occurred in the Saint-Gilles district, close to the historical city centre, on Saturday 18 March.
Now the scene is raging fire trying to put out.
“We don’t know how many victims and how many people remained under the rubble,” – said representatives of the police of Brussels.
The cause of the explosion is unknown, but one version is explosion of household gas.
It is noted that the explosion severely damaged several homes, destroyed the facades, in one of the houses collapsed roof. Numerous eyewitnesses of the incident say about the “huge explosion” that “blew house”.
