Local authorities would be given broad powers to identify each unemployed person. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the press service of the head of state.

“We pull out people’s personalities: who can but don’t want to, who wants, but cannot, and those who have shovel teeth, and went to work. And let me not offended,” – said Lukashenko, noting that “local authorities will be given wide powers.”
