British Ambassador Leigh Turner, while walking through the woods near Vienna stumbled upon a herd of wild boars. One diplomat had to flee, with the result that he received injuries. This LP Turner wrote in his blog.
“I encountered a herd of wild boars. Among them were several adults and countless pigs, I turned around and slowly went back. But after a few seconds I heard a noise similar to the gallop of a horse, and, turning round, saw an angry boar that was charging directly at me,” the Ambassador wrote.
Fleeing the animal, If Turner ran and hid on a pile of felled trees, but slipped on the wet wood and got multiple bruises and scratches.
In his blog, the diplomat posted a photo of his bandaged hands.
