This animal is born for the first time
In the Australian zoo Koala gave birth to a baby with a rare white color.
He has already been given the name Joey. The animal has white fur. It happens quite rarely and is due to the presence of specific recessive gene inherited from his mother TII.
“In veterinary science, this is often referred to as “genes posereznee” when animals are born with white or very pale fur color. Like children’s baby teeth, their fur gradually changes color to the standard,” explained zoo Director Rosie Booth.
