A snake snuck into the house through the open door and climbed up on the tree
A resident of Melbourne found the snake about a metre long between the branches of the Christmas tree in their home. It was later revealed that the snake refers to the highly poisonous mind tiger.
The woman didn’t panic, took a picture of the reptile and called a professional exterminator of snakes. Arrived on call exterminator named Barry goldsmith found the woman calmly drinking tea in another room.
“Finding a snake, she walked out of the room, stuffed the crack under the door with a towel and called me,” said goldsmith in an interview with Bi-bi-si. In his opinion, a snake snuck into the house through the open door.
As told exterminator, the snake climbed the tree, was treated to the sight of a tiger. Representatives of this species belong to the family elapidae and are among the most poisonous snakes in nature. The risk of death when they bite is very high. The tiger snake can grow to nearly three meters in length.
Tiger snake is a rare species and is protected under the Australian government. Found in the tree the snake was released into the wild.
20 of the 25 most venomous species of snakes are found in Australia. Says Barry goldsmith, he used to find reptiles in the most unexpected places.
“I found them in boots in washing machines, in kennels, cat litter, toilets, cupboards and on the shelves,” – said exterminator.
