In annexed to the Crimea discovered huge boon

Archaeologists believe that unearthed in the Crimea, the ancient town of Tamiraka.

On the West coast of the occupied Crimea, scientists discovered the ancient city of Tamiraka.

According to archaeologists, the history here you can explore the layer-by-layer up to six meters in depth.

“You see here, for example, traces of ash, the levels vary in the nature of the soil. At different times there were people built houses on top of the roofs of the earlier residents”, – says the participant donuzlavskaya archaeological expedition Ekaterina Alexandrova.

It is noted that the first settlement here was built by the ancient Greeks coming to the Peninsula in search of fertile land.

Subsequently, the city became part of Chersonese state.

“That’s all you see, it’s all a huge tower of 10 meters with anti-collision case. It was always assumed that these towers are single-storey and built of brick, and you can see, there are another three steps and a platform… there is clearly a deity of some kind, I very much hope that we will find him. This is a clear altar here, and offerings were brought, wine or something else,” – said the Deputy Director of the Institute of archaeology of the Crimea, Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the Department of classical archaeology, head of the archaeological expedition donuzlavskaya Sergey Lantsov.

The altar is preserved, the volunteers say.
