The only surviving ancient castles come to life.
The only surviving ancient castles of Japan – the Kochi castle – turned in a fantastic light and sound space. He became part of a new exhibition. It is really otherworldly. But really scientific.
Now Kochi has captivated the stunning digital exhibits. Among them, for example, hollow trees: if they touch, they create an air wave and echo. The same functions are able to perform sculptures that are made in ovoid form. All this is accompanied by stunning sound and light effects, creating a full feeling that you are in some parallel space, but the castle do not leave.
The Kochi castle, among other things, remarkable for the fact that it is one of a dozen other Japanese castles, which is not touched by time: neither destruction nor war, nor the fires. Build it began in 1601, after only 10 years.
In the castle permanently exhibits works of art and objects of history which now decided to “dilute” the light and sound interactivity.
The exhibition in Kochi, which is located in the homonymous Prefecture of the Shikoku region, will run until 6 January next year. You can visit it only in the evening, from 17 to 21 hours. Ticket price – about $ 12 (1,300 yen).
