In Afghanistan killed one of leaders “al-Qaeda”

Carried out a military operation under NATO leadership.

One of the leaders of the group al Qaeda was killed along with 80 people during a joint military operation by Afghan army and intelligence forces under NATO leadership. On Tuesday said the intelligence service of the country.

Omar Khatab, also known as Omar Mansour, was a senior member of the group who was killed in Afghanistan, said in a statement the national Directorate of security of Afghanistan.

The security Agency also arrested 27 people during the operation in vostochnobeisky Ghazni, Paktia and Zabul, the Agency said, without specifying details.
