The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to lay in state budget for 2018 increase the salaries for teachers.
“We must ensure a further increase in salaries of Ukrainian teachers. So the budget for next year will be another increase, I believe, under 25% in 2018. This is what we must fight,” – said the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman during familiarization with the work of the Center for social services in the format of “Transparent office” of the Svyatoshinsky district of Kiev.
In 2017, the salaries of teachers of secondary schools increased by about 50%.
This was done by increasing the minimum wage and promotion of teachers on two tariff category forward with 9-12 discharge on 11-14.
