In Azerbaijan, check the combat readiness of the troops
Azerbaijani armed forces started large-scale exercises involving over 30 thousand soldiers.
As the press service of the defense Ministry of this country, the purpose of the exercise is to test the combat readiness of the troops, organization of control of forces and means of their interaction in the conditions approached to the fighting.
“The exercises began according to the approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev to the plan”, — stated in the message.
In the exercises involved up to 30 thousand military personnel, more than 250 units of tanks and armored vehicles, 200 missile and artillery systems of different caliber, rocket systems of volley fire and mortars, 25 units of combat aircraft for various purposes, as well as new means of electronic intelligence and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The military maneuvers will continue until the 21st of April.
