Astronaut of the European space Agency (ESA) Thomas Sands, who is currently aboard the International space station on his Twitter page published a picture of the Aurora.
The Aurora appears as a result of collision of the charged particles of the solar wind with the upper layers of Earth’s atmosphere.
As a rule, a similar phenomenon is observed in the polar regions of the planet.
