This unusual attraction is located in the Canary Islands.
In January 2017 in the Canary Islands was opened the Museum of the Atlantic. It would seem, nothing. Here are just a Museum, this is not quite normal, it is underwater and located on the bottom of the ocean. Colorados Bay on the island of Lanzarote is now a favorite destination of many divers who are diving to enjoy art and spectacular views.
Jason Taylor, a famous sculptor, during the year, had his sculptures on the seabed, thus creating the largest underwater Park in the world.
Jason Taylor also took care of the marine ecosystem: all the sculptures are made of dense concrete, which does not violate the natural balance in the ocean.
The entire Park has 300 sculptures, which are divided into different installations with certain philosophical ideas.
“Circulation of people” – the most ambitious installation. It consists of 200 sculptures, and all pieces are arranged in a circle. According to the author, this arrangement of sculptures symbolizes the dependence emerging in the water of life from the ocean.
There are other installation: “Vicissitudes”, “Boat on Lampedusa”, “Inertia”. They attract a huge number of tourists wishing to see the underwater world.
In recent years, the island began to organize tours on boats with glass bottom. Given that the depth to which the sculpture is 12-15 meters, tourists can see all this variety and top.
