Thus, the price of the June gas imports at 2.4% above the may when it was $260,01 (6 806,4 thousand hryvnia) per 1 thousand cubic meters.
As reported, in January of 2018, according to the Ministry, the import price of gas per thousand cubic meters was $272,93 (7784,05 hryvnia), in February – $276,96 (7429,55 hryvnia), in March – $274,57 (7153,5 hryvnia), in April – $309,91 (8099,76 hryvnia), in may – $260,01 (6 806,4 thousand hryvnia).
In addition, according to the Ministry, the actual price of crude oil and condensate, which is used in determining payments for subsoil use, in June was 14050,2 UAH/ton, which is 0.9% less than in may 2018 (14182,5 UAH/tonne).
We will remind, Ukrainians in the first quarter of 2018 to dramatically increase gas consumption by 56% in comparison with IV quarter of 2017 and 3% in comparison with the I quarter of 2017.
The increased demand for gas was covered by imports of gas of own production and gas from storage facilities is raised.
However, in the first half of 2018, Ukraine reduced natural gas imports by 36.7%.
