“Much has been done, but the list of necessary reforms remains significant.”
The international monetary Fund does not see a significant change in the level of corruption in Ukraine. This was stated by permanent representative of IMF in Ukraine Jost Longman at the investment conference of Dragon Capital in Kiev.
“We haven’t seen radical changes in the level of corruption. Although institutions have been established that will help to deal with it,” said Longman.
In his opinion, in 5 years, much has been done to redress imbalances in the economy, but the list of necessary reforms is significant is land reform, privatization of state enterprises, cancellation of control gas prices, reform of tax and customs services.
