Scenes Rogers does not occur in the rich interiors.
American photographer Christy Lee Rogers proves that underwater photography can be impressive. Thanks to twisted twisted shapes and a smooth drape, each striking photograph looks like a painting of the XVII century that was revived.
Collection “Muse” borrows the traits of the Baroque masters, in particular Caravaggio’s contrast of light and shadow, Gentileschi orientation to the movement and rich color palette of Rubens. However, unlike the works of these artists, scenes Rogers does not occur in the rich interiors or mythological landscapes.
Each photograph submitted in the “Music”, was filmed at night in the lit pool. This unique location gives the pictures a soft effect and allows Rogers to literally bathe their subjects in the light as they revolve and fall through the water.
