ICC South is planning the construction of a new coal terminal

Yuzhny commercial sea port intends to build a new terminal for import of coking and thermal coal from abroad. This was reported by the press service of the port.

According to.about. the Director of the port of South Vitaly Zhukovsky, the new terminal will increase cargo turnover, improve processing speed of vessels and the shipment of coal cars.

“In September, the port of South is planning to take to different owners 6 ships with the energy and coking coal, totaling more than 530 thousand tons. All berths and warehouses of the company will be involved in receiving fuel for Ukrainian power plants and steel mills,” said Zhukovsky.

“Today, we are open to discussions and cooperation in the format of public-private partnerships. The company will continue to perform its strategic function in ensuring energy independence of Ukraine”, – said Zhukovsky.
