Hyundai introduced the Solaris new generation

The sedan has a new look and engines.

The company Hyundai introduced the sedan Solaris new generation. The model was slightly larger, has received a new exterior and interior, as well as an upgraded range of power plants.

Compared to the predecessor “Solaris” was three inches longer and wider (up to 4405 and 1729 mm, respectively), and the wheelbase is 2600 mm. Also widened the track, and the boot capacity has increased from 470 to 480 liters.

Among other changes — new rear semi-suspension from “Elantra” and the other a 1.4-liter engine, the returns of which decreased from the previous 107 to 99.7 horsepower (maximum torque has been reduced from 135 to 132 Nm, but is now achieved at lower revs).

The engine capacity of 1.6 liters appeared intake manifold of variable length, and the second phase shifter. Power remained the same — 123 power. The stall torque has decreased from 155 to 150,7 Nm.

All units can be paired with either a six-speed “mechanics” or dedicated six “automatic”. Later version debuts with a two-liter engine.

“Solaris” will be available in four equipment options: Active, Active Plus, Comfort and Elegance. Standard equipment are front airbags, electric front Windows, stability control system tire pressure and audiopreparation.

The version with the prefix “Plus” will receive electric mirrors, audio system with USB port, heated front seats, and the “Comfort” will appear leather trim steering, air conditioning, rear power Windows, Central locking and Bluetooth.

The top variant will be equipped with Parking sensors, light sensor, climate control, navigation, lyzovanie headlights and foglights.

There will also be kits available options, including heated windshield and rear row of seats, light turns, Keyless access and rearview camera.
