Hyundai introduced a new wagon

Hyundai has revealed the i30 wagon.

Public premiere of the car took place at the motor show in Geneva.

I30 SW sales in Europe will begin before the end of this month. The main competitors of new items will be Renault Megane Sports Tourer, Skoda Octavia Combi and Peugeot 308 SW. Prices for the new wagon will be announced at a later date.

Design Hyundai i30 SW resembles the hatchback of the third generation. The car was built on the same platform that has been modified. The Luggage compartment volume was 602 liters. With the rear seats folded this figure increases to 1650 litres.

In the engine range of novelties included a 1.0-liter petrol engine T-GDI three-cylinder. The capacity of the unit is 120 horsepower. Also customers will be offered a 1.4-liter engine with recoil 140 horsepower. In addition, the car received a 1.6-litre petrol engine which is available in three variants of capacity: 95, 110 and 136 horsepower. The motors work in conjunction with a six-speed manual six-speed or seven-speed “robot” with double clutch.

In the salon i30 SW has a new multimedia system with eight-inch touch display and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Surcharge car can be ordered also with the function of emergency braking, cruise control, monitoring system “dead” zones and Parking assistance.

Later, Hyundai will present the sports version of hatchback i30, called N, which will receive a 2.0-litre petrol turbo. Engine output is 250 horsepower. In the top embodiment, the output of the unit will be increased to 275 horsepower. The car’s top speed is 250 km per hour. The main competitors of the car called the Ford Focus ST and VW Golf GTI. Prices for the model will be announced later.
