New technologies conquer the world – even those places which, it seemed, forever steeped in the past.
Not so far from Disneyland, is perhaps the oldest theme Park in the United States – Orange County’s Knott’s Berry Farm. 1 April 2017 – and this is NO joke – the Park was an entirely new entertainment, called VR Showdown in Ghost Town.
Yes, there are virtual reality helmets, and the pastime combines elements of team competition and virtual gallery. Park visitors are invited to visit the virtual version of a futuristic town of Calico. The players have to face (or helmet) to face off hordes of enemies, like robots, or ghosts to defend against their invasion of the town.
In addition to the VR headsets are special “blasters”. In the game you can participate several people, but to shoot each other will not work. The aim of the competition is to score the most points.
