Budapest “will to resist” if the new law of the Hungarian language will not be official in Transcarpathia.
According to the diplomat, Budapest comes from the “fundamental principle” of international law: the minority rights cannot be reduced.
“If there are 10% of the Hungarians in the locality or the area allowed to determine the language of the official minority, and the new act will raise this threshold to 33% – then, of course, we will resist,” – said Siyyarto.
According to the foreign Minister, in Budapest realize that Ukraine wants to reduce the influence of Russia through Russian-language schools, but do not understand “how this picture came the Hungarians”. “It seems that Hungary just got under the hand!” – outraged Siarto.
