Gravitational “war” stars have broken the system.
Scientists using the Hubble telescope discovered an unusual star, which “escaped” from a small star system.
As reported on the website NASA, the researchers were able to establish that some stars were “the gravity war”, which ended up being, at least, three stars were ejected from the system into space.
This event went unnoticed for several hundred years until scientists have found two of the “dropped out” of the system of stars. Observations have shown that the two stars are moving at high speed in opposite relation to each other directions. The origin of stars remained a mystery to researchers.
Scientists have traced the path that had travelled the stars for 540 years, and found that they were part of the same system. According to the researchers, this system has included at least one star.
Now, with the help of Hubble, scientists have discovered a third “fugitive”. It turned out that all three stars were part of one system, which was located near the center of the Orion nebula, at a distance of 1300 light years from Earth.
