Scientists using the Hubble space telescope got the bright galaxy NGC 7250, which is experiencing a burst of star formation, and which was recorded supernova explosion.
However, as reported on the website of the telescope, the galaxy outshines the light of the star TYC 3203-450-1.
A similar effect is caused by the fact that the star TYC 3203-450-1, which is located in the constellation of the Lizard, is much closer to the telescope than the galaxy. This leads to the fact that an ordinary star outshines a galaxy of billions of stars.
The star is a billion times closer than NGC 7250, which is located at a distance of 45 million light years from Earth. If the galaxy and the star was located at the same distance, a star would be barely visible in the picture.
