The Council will consider the issues of strategic reserves.
Monday, February 13, at the meeting of the Energy headquarters will consider the question of introducing a state of emergency due to shortage of coal, said Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman during a joint briefing with Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip.
“Now will be considered on the agenda of Energy headquarters – the feasibility of introducing a state of emergency in the Ukrainian energy sector and the formation of the plan and proposals that should be including in rolling blackouts to prevent any of the problematic things related to security,” – said Groisman.
Also, according to him, the Council will consider issues of strategic reserves.
“But you know, if there is a two week supply, it only means that we cannot use this two-week supply of burn to 2 weeks to go in a crisis. We need to introduce certain measures to prevent the decline of critical stocks of coal,” he added.
