Hroisman has promised not to raise gas prices

According to government regulation, growth is possible from 1 October.

Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that gas prices for the population will likely not grow.

He said this to journalists in Kharkiv, reports his press-Secretary Dmitry Stolyarchuk in his Twitter.

“The increase in gas prices is not expected”, – said the Prime Minister.

Recall that in February the Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for reviewing maximum retail prices for natural gas for population and enterprises Teplokommunenergo (CTV), according to which the price adjustment may be carried out by the government every six months (April 1 and October 1) in the case that the cost of imported gas will increase for the first half more than 10%.

From 1 may 2016 in Ukraine set a single price for the population at 6.9 UAH per cubic meter.
