A few facts about the popular Soviet film.
“Station for two” is one of the most beloved and adored by viewers of films directed by Eldar Ryazanov.

In the scenario laid two true stories. One occurred in the life of composer Mikael Tariverdiev. He was traveling with his sweetheart and gave her the driver’s seat. The trip ended in an accident with a tragic outcome – the death of a pedestrian. The composer took the blame and was sentenced to two years, but pardoned.

The second case occurred with the poet by Jaroslav Smelyakov, who served time in camp. After Stalin’s death, political prisoners were waiting for the Amnesty and the attitude towards them was softer than sitting on other articles. So Smelyakova was released from the camp to visit nearby the settlement the writers Valery Frida and Julia Dong, and all three of them after the feast, slept through the alarm.
