The value of ginger in its underground parts. Fleshy, branched root of this plant contains a range of nutrients, micro– and macroelements, among which are: asparagine, aluminum, calcium, chromium, choline, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, potassium, sodium, iron, germanium, Caprylic, linoleic, oleic and nicotinic acid, fat, fiber, vitamins C, A, B1, B2. Also in the ginger root all the essential amino acids, including threonine, tryptophan, leucine, phenylalanine, methionine, valine, and others.
In the root of ginger contains 1-3 % essential oil. It gives the rhizome a special pungent and spicy flavor. The main components of the oil are: tsingiberen (zingiberene) – up to 70 %, starch 4% gingerol to 1.5 % (as well as camphene, linalool, gingery, phellandrene, bisabolen, borneol, citral, cineole, sugar and fat).
Piquant burning taste of ginger root gives penelopedevine substance gingerol.
Ginger is widely used in various diseases, including for cleansing the body and getting rid of excess weight.
To cleanse and weight loss drink ginger tea. To do this, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger root pour 1 Cup of boiling water. Leave for 20-30 minutes. Drink 3-4 times a day.
Another recipe of ginger tea: 1/2 liter of water you will need: fresh ginger root (3-4 cm); cardamom – 2 pod; a pinch of ground cinnamon (optional); 1 teaspoon of green tea without additives; 3 teaspoons honey; cloves; 1/2 lemon.
Brew green tea as usual, leave for 5 minutes, then strain. Tea (no tea leaves) and pour into a stainless steel pan, add cardamom, finely chopped ginger root, cinnamon, cloves. Bring to a boil. On low heat cook for 20 minutes. Then add honey and lemon (first squeeze, and then throw in the pot the remains of the lemon along with the peel). Cook for 5 minutes. Then take the pan off the heat and infuse the tea for 15-20 minutes. Then through a strainer to pour the tea from the pot into a convenient container.
Black (green) tea with ginger. Grate fresh ginger on a fine grater (or 1/2 tsp dried ginger). To fill it with tea in a thermos, pour boiling water, to insist 20 minutes, drain. Such tea is very useful: it not only has a pleasant fresh taste and aroma, but also helps when you cough, invigorating. Ginger is a known antioxidant, so drinking cups of this tea a day may be considered as an element of the struggle for clean, radiant skin without wrinkles and good health at any age.
When slagging of the organism to remove toxins you can use the following recipe. 10-20 g of fresh ginger or 1 teaspoon powder to brew 1 Cup of hot water, infuse 10 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of honey and lemon juice to taste.
