To solve the problem at least partly, the Moscow authorities last year has allocated 3.4 billion rubles for the opening of the landfill Malinki on the territory of New Moscow, where every year could be buried more than 1 million tons of waste. The result of excluding debris remaining within Moscow after sorting, every year outside the MKAD have to take out more than 6.6 million tons of municipal solid waste (MSW).
