When choosing caviar, you should pay attention to the packaging of the product.
“Everyone thinks that it should be on the holiday table. I wouldn’t recommend it in cans to buy. In cans we can see what’s in the middle. Better on weight, if you are sure that in normal sanitary conditions it is sold. If in a glass jar — you see that there is some grain of caviar. It should be dense and should not be sludge water. This suggests that weakened the grain or the eggs were delayed in processing and you can get poisoned,” — said the expert on quality and food safety, Professor KNEU Elena Sidorenko,
Also Sidorenko shared a personal unpleasant experience of buying caviar in a tin container.
“I a few days ago doing research and I got a very bad samples. I was shocked, and decided that in tin containers just will not fly. There was just jelly. It was packaged in the Kiev region, the first month from the date of packaging. That is, it is first delivered, and then re-packaged. One muck,” added the Professor.
In addition, it urged buyers to pay attention to the labeling — what kind of fish ROE.

“This is said to respect from the manufacturer, and a high probability that there will be a quality product. If glass containers, then we’ll see”, said Sidorenko.
