Weekend in the New year in 2018 in Ukraine will last for three days, on 30 and 31 December and 1 January.
In addition, on 7 January the whole of Ukraine will be celebrating Christmas. Since the holiday falls on a Sunday, then Monday, 8 January, Ukrainians will rest.
So overall, in January there will be 10 days off.
Students will have a rest in January for 17 days. New year holidays in 2018, will run from December 23, 2017 January 9, 2018.
