How many Belarusian doctors rushed to work in Germany and Lithuania, and what are there salaries

According to Ministry of health, work abroad, leaving Belarus 190-210 doctors a year. And recently, the Ministry of health of Poland said that now the country has 231 physicians from Belarus. FINANCE.TUT.BY sent requests to relevant agencies in other European countries and asked how much it comes to doctors from Belarus.

The Federal medical Association of Germany told us that, as of 31 December 2018, in Germany, was 430 doctors from Belarus. Compared to the end of December 2017 this figure has increased by 16.5%. So, for 2018 in Germany came 61 Belarusian doctors.

— We know that at the moment doctors of them are 409 people. Most (339) work in hospitals, others in other private medical institutions, — have told in the Association.

According to the German website for job search for physicians praktischarzt.de last year the doctor offered an average salary of 84,000 euros per year (7000 euros per month before taxes).

In neighboring Lithuania, the Belarusian doctors go much less. In 2018, a license of medical practice of the practitioner was issued a two doctors from Belarus.

One of them is the right to practice medicine in accordance with the professional qualifications of the doctor, the other — according to the professional qualifications of the anaesthetist, commented Nora Ribokiene, Director of the State service of accreditation of health at the Ministry of health of Lithuania. In 2018 the license for medical practice were issued to two citizens of Belarus. One of them graduated in Lithuania. Also in 2018, one citizen of Belarus issued a license for General health care.

The Ministry said that in September 2019, the average salary of a doctor in Lithuania amounted to 2448 euros before taxes, nurses — 1229 euros.
