How can animals change after climate change. Photo

The climate continues to change.

In 2006, the year of the white bear with brown spots which I assume was a hybrid of polar bear and grizzly bear, was shot by Arctic hunters. In 2009, the hybrid of blue and bowhead whales were discovered by scientists in the Bering sea: this photograph has become a serious proof of the possibility of productive mating of two closely related species of animals. Scientists believe that the frequent cases of hybridization are an important indicator of gradual climate change throughout the world.

Arctic sea ice continues to melt. Seals, whales, and bears previously blocked by huge rocks of ice, have the opportunity to migrate to a warm and well-fed regions that are already inhabited by their nearest relatives. Elin pierce, the eminent biologist and popularizer of science, decided to make some scientific assumptions on the subject. Here’s how, according to the researcher, will look like some species in the very near future.

Beluga and narwhal

Hybrid

And here’s like a hybrid of Beluga whale and narwhal. The illustration is only a suggestion of the artist, however, in 1980-th year, the hunters found a skull, presumably belonging to the offspring of these two species. There are undocumented eyewitness claiming to have seen such an animal with your own eyes.

Polar bear and grizzly bear

Hybrid

As melting sea ice, polar bears will spend more time on the beach. Here they are, according to scientists, have to meet grizzly bears, which already are moving North due to a General increase in temperatures. The hybrid of these two types has a more blunt shaped snout, a small hump and a coloring book, compiled from the skins of both species.

Puppies polar bear and grizzly bear

Puppy-hybrid

Fur seal and ringed seal

Hybrid

Approximately, according to scientists, it may look like a hybrid of a Navy seal, and ringed seal. Puppy borrowed the body shape from the seal and the skin from a seal.

The harbour porpoise and dall’s porpoise

Hybrid

Porpoises begin to move North from the temperate waters of the North Atlantic to the North Pacific ocean. Here they will begin to mate with their white-winged cousins. Actually, right now the fishermen was a few meetings with hybrids: animals look darker both types and are distinguished by courage.

The southern flying squirrel and Northern flying squirrel

Hybrid

As climate warming flying squirrels from the South will begin migration to the North, where their larger relatives. Hybrids should get the large size, but keep the gray-white fur of Northern subspecies.
