In 2016 in Texas officially allowed to openly carry weapons with them.
But many armed local women prefer to hide it — for reasons, ironically, security and comfort. As of 2014, more than 268 thousand women of the state have a valid license to carry light firearms.
And these figures are growing steadily, which gave rise to related industry accessories, including the holster in the bra, camouflage pants and holders of weapons in the car leopard.
Photographer Shelley Kolton (Shelley Calton) in an attempt to document the role of women in modern culture of firearms took a series of portraits of his Texas friends for books Concealed: She’s Got a Gun.
