Honda has revealed the name of their first city electric car

Interior Honda E will be performed in the atmosphere of home comfort.

Honda has revealed the name of the production version of its electric Urban concept EV, and it will simply call “E”.

The upcoming model will be the first electric car company, and it is built on a special EV platform.

The preliminary model was presented in serial form with the title E Prototype at the Geneva motor show in March this year, is a five-door hatchback with an electric motor installed in the rear of the vehicle, and conductive to drive the rear wheels.

At the moment Honda announced only the name, not in model specifications, but promises that E Honda will be able to pass without the EQ up to 200 kilometers and will be able to charge battery to 80% in 30 minutes.

Interior Honda E will be performed in the atmosphere of home comfort with a flat floor, a massive horizontal display with two digital screens and side mirrors.

According to Honda, the company has managed to more than 22 thousand pre-orders in Europe, which is considered as the main market for the model.

It is reported that the start of production of Honda E will begin before the end of 2019, and the first cars will begin to distribute to clients in 2020.

Global Honda plans to electrify all of its models by the year 2025, and one of the first steps will be the introduction of a hybrid engine model of Honda Jazz next generation, which will use the same technology as the CR-V Hybrid.
