The novelty will receive a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo VTEC TURBO.
Honda will introduce a production version of the new Civic Type R for Europe at the Geneva motor show on March 7. Assembly machines will establish the plant in the British town of Swindon. In September last year at the motor show in Paris was shown a prototype of the future model.
“The model will be exported both to Europe and to the markets of Japan and the United States. It is worth noting that the first generation Type R will be officially available in North America”, — stated in the message of the Japanese brand.
The novelty will receive a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo VTEC TURBO. The dynamic characteristics of the machine are still unknown. According to unofficial data, the engine power will exceed 300 horsepower.
The prototype was made in the same style that the Japanese used the same name for the sedan and coupe. The car has got expressive bumpers, exhaust system with three tailpipes, aerodynamic spoiler, 20-inch alloy wheels and diffuser. This model is also equipped with full led optics. The prototype is equipped with a large rear wing, but in the production version it will be dismantled.
