French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday expressed support for the extension of restrictive measures against Russia. A statement they made during a press conference in Berlin.
“It will be necessary again to extend sanctions against Russia, despite the fact that we would like more progress in the implementation of this process (Minsk agreements – ed.ed)”, – said the Chancellor of Germany.
For its part Hollande stated that if the Minsk agreement will not be implemented, “sanctions will continue.”
“I, like Merkel, are in favour of extending the sanctions,” – said the French President.
