The national team of Ukraine on hockey without a win ended the world championship in the first division.
In the last match team Alexander Savitsky has no problems is not solved, but could affect the fate of one of the teams. In case of a victory over South Korea in the elite world championship went to Kazakhstan, the defeat of the “blue-yellow” meant the debut of Koreans in the main division.
Despite the home stands, on motivation tired the Ukrainian team was inferior to his opponent. Fantastic game of goalkeeper Eduard Zakharchenko allowed the owners of the world championship to get hold of the only point – Ukrainians prevailed during most of the game, and then not without a little luck in overtime kept their goal intact, however, in a shootout to the great disappointment of the Kazakhs stronger still was the team of South Korea.
Butsenko and skein did not convert their shots, and Zakharchenko did not save the team after the shootout from the swift and Sague Bus, which hit officially made South Korea a member of the elite division of the world championship. Ukraine next year will play in division 1B.
