Hungry Gator snagged the big fish right from the fishing line, the boy who was engaged in fishing from the pier.
Video of the incident, which presumably occurred in Florida, was posted on Facebook on 24 February and received since that time, more than 10 million views.
The record shows that the boy, who is fishing from a pier with two older men, trying to bring myself caught seatrout.
One of the men notices the approaching alligator, and warns the boy. In the next second the alligator grabs the catch with their teeth and swim away.
