The hotel “Quadrum” in the Georgian ski resort of Gudauri Upper is entirely made out of shipping containers.
In the Georgian mountains in the popular ski resort Upper Gudauri is an unusual hotel made from shipping containers.
The hotel was designed by architects Sandro Ramishvili Irakli Eristavi, put the containers in the shape of a pyramid. They use environmentally friendly materials, local production and made so that each room had a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. A distinctive feature of this hotel is that it is at a considerable distance from cities and is situated at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level.
