High blood pressure also known as hypertension, often remains unnoticed.
The researchers reported that high blood pressure can be dangerous to human health than previously thought.
It has been proven that hypertension may contribute to the appearance of ovarian cancer in women. Doctors conducted a series of experiments that enabled to prove it: it turned out that those women who had hypertension, more often was also observed with ovarian cancer.
Thus, scientists were able to detect the relationship between high blood pressure and ovarian cancer, reports Cancer Causes & Control.
Another disease that also often accompanies these two, diabetes. Quite often, the diabetes becomes the cause of death of women with ovarian cancer.
During the study, researchers analyzed several hundred women with different diseases and came to the conclusion that there is a correlation between the disease: in women with ovarian cancer often had diabetes, and before that appeared the hypertension. As these diseases are associated is not specified, the doctors intend to conduct research that will allow us to understand the principle of this unexpected relationship. However, experts have identified the relationship between high blood pressure and risk of death.
Yet only discovered a causal relationship, but what are the processes in the body triggers hypertension was not reported. It is noted that this issue requires special studies that will allow to understand more about this disease and about how ovarian cancer can affect high blood pressure. Doctors say that more research is needed in this area to find a solution to this problem.
