Hennessey put up a 1000-strong “the Exorcist” vs. “the Demon”.
American Atelier Hennessey Performance has built a 1000-strong version of the coupe Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which the company called The Exorcist (the exorcist).
The tuners claim to have designed this car specifically as opposed to “charged” dragova “Dodge” Challenger called Demon.
Standard Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is equipped with a 650-strong compressor “eight” in volume of 6.5 liters. In the Studio Hennessey has set a new mechanical supercharger, a more efficient intercooler, a different camshaft and modified intake system, the cylinder block and reprogrammed electronic control unit. The motor can be paired with a six-speed “mechanics” and 10-step “automatic”.
From zero to 96 kilometers per hour “the Exorcist” can accelerate in less than three seconds. Dragovol the distance of a quarter mile car passes for 10 seconds. In this coupe, according to the company, are allowed to use on public roads.
The exorcist can be bought as a finished car, and to bring to completion in any other Hennessey Performance Camaro ZL1. The upgrade will cost 55 thousand dollars, 9.9 thousand will have to spend on upgrading the automatic transmission to enable it to cope with the increased power.
