Heavy wind made a mess of things in Transcarpathia

In Western Ukraine on Sunday, 17 September, hit a perfect storm – strong winds felled trees and destroyed the building the mine number 9 SE “Solotvinsky salt mines”.

As it became known, a fallen tree blocked the railway track near the village of bilyn in Rakhiv district, with the result that the movement of the train Rakhiv-Kolomya detained, reported the press service of the Sses in the Transcarpathian region.

“The injured and affected as a result of these cases, there is no”, – stated in the message.

Also the storm knocked down trees in many localities in mountain areas, damaged power lines and roofs of private houses and social facilities.

“As of 20.30 practically the whole Rakhiv district is de-energized, also without light there are a number of villages Cacumina”, – said the representatives of the authorities.

In the village Bilin (Rakhiv district) a heavy wind completely demolished the roof on three private homes and several damaged.

Fortunately, the violence of the disaster no one was hurt.
