June 26, in Kamyanets-Podilsky, Khmelnytsky region, fell heavy rain and hail. Felled a lot of trees and electrosupport, and known Novoplanovsky bridge turned into a waterfall.
According to eyewitnesses, the storm raged for about 15 minutes. The mayor of Kamyanets-Podilskyi Michael Simashkevich on his page in Facebook wrote that due to heavy rains smashed dozens of trees, destroyed several electrosupport, some houses were left without roofs.
“Fifteen minutes a severe thunderstorm, when people are just powerless before nature. The powerful wind and hail destroyed everything in its path. Dozens of broken trees, destroyed power, destroyed the roofs of the buildings. Services are already beginning to work towards the elimination of consequences of elements”, – stated in the message of the mayor.
