Russian hackers infect the computers of Ukrainian companies with malware that provides unauthorized access (the “back doors”) for large-scale coordinated attacks.
According to him, hackers are aimed at companies, banks and energy infrastructure through the activation of malicious software.
Since the beginning of the year, the police detects viruses in phishing emails sent from the domains of public institutions whose systems were hacked and fake web pages that mimic real sites of state bodies.
Demediuk said that, trying to avoid detection, hackers introducing malware into a network of companies, breaking it into separate files.
“The analysis of discovered malware and the focus attack in Ukraine testify to the fact that all of this is prepared on a particular day,” he said.
