Gymnast Vernaeve the best athlete of Ukraine in April

The national Olympic Committee of Ukraine summed up the results next month.

In April, the most significant achievements of Ukrainians in the international arena are associated with gymnastics. At the European Championships in Cluj (Romania) flashed the leader of the national team of Ukraine Oleg Verniaiev, who managed to win three medals.

The vernaeve confirmed the status of the best gymnast of the continent in the all-around, and then favorite on the uneven bars won her second gold. One more medal – bronze – Vernaeve issued in the vault.

Now, on account of the Olympic champion in Rio 2016 12 medals of the European Championships – six gold, two silver and four bronze.
Oleg Vernaeve the ninth time voted the best athlete of Ukraine according to the NOC. The same number of monthly awards, only one female athlete – famous fencers Olga Harlan.
