According to him, the development budgets of local communities has increased five or six times.
Reform on decentralization of power is one of the most successful reforms in the country.
As a result of this reform, local governments have received tens of billions USD revenue. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, the TV channel “Ukraine”. It is reported by Government portal.
“I am proud to have direct relevance to the reform, which began in 2014 when I came to work in the first government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk after the revolution of dignity. I came to do just this reform. This is hardly the only reform, which today is quite successful and which affect, in particular, and on the health care system,” – said Groisman.
He stressed that today, thanks to the decentralization reform in local budgets there are tens of billions of hryvnia, which should be referred to the quality of life of Ukrainians. So, the government envisages changing the model of financing health care.
“We want to invest into the walls of hospitals and quality medical service for the Ukrainians”, – said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister also noted that today Ukraine needs medical insurance.
“We take the initiative, we require additional taxes for the Ukrainians. We can change the funding system and to allocate these funds for insurance each person. This is very important from the point of view of service quality”, – he stressed.
By signing the law on the budget for 2017, President Petro Poroshenko said that the reform of the decentralization has led to a significant increase of local budgets and their capabilities. According to him, the development budgets of local communities has increased five or six times.
