The Prime Minister commented on the situation with his translator.
The translator of the head of the government Volodymyr Groysman, Stanislav Yezhov had no access to state secrets. This was stated on Friday, December 22, the Prime Minister on the hour of questions to government in Parliament.
“Not one month did we know that there is a suspicion that he works for foreign intelligence agencies. Thanks to the security Service of Ukraine he is a long time was under full monitoring, of course, with the support of the Prime Minister his camera. Once you have collected the required amount of materials, he was arrested,” – said Groisman.
According to him, activities of Yezhov did not lead to the leakage of sensitive government information.
“Actually, you know what the Protocol office (where he worked with Yezhov) – it organizes official events and meetings, including he was engaged in the translations, but stress that he had no access to state secrets. And therefore, no major losses, we have not received”, – said the Prime Minister.
“Months went surgery, but no leakage, even a hint of leakage of information was not. This suggests that there are many honest officers in the security Service of Ukraine and our counter-intelligence agencies”, – said Groisman.
He also said that the situation with Yezhov trying to use against him.
“How many would not have tried to discredit me, I will always be to identify and publicly react to it,” – said the head of government.
